Gethsemane - EN
Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane.
He began to be sorrowful and troubled. Then he said to them:
"My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death.
Stay here and keep watch with me.“
Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed:
„My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me.
Yet non as I will, but as you will.“
And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly,
and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.
Then he returned to his disciples and found them sleeping.
„Could you men
not keep watch with me for one hour?“
He asked Peter.
„Watch and pray
so that you will not fall into temptation.
The spirit is willing, but the body is weak.“
(Matthew 26, Luke 22)
Listen to this Jesus´appeal,
read articles about His agony,
contemplate over thereby, what He suffered for us,
how much He had loved us...
give a little time to Whom,
Who sacrificed all His time, whole His life...
at least one hour weekly...
...to not leave Jesus alone...

GETHSEMANE
is a group of prayers, who have decided
every Thursday evening (at night) at least one hour
contemplate over Jesus´agony,
be awake with Him and not leave His alone in the suffering.
